🏃🏽♀️ St Pete Distance Classic - Volunteering (Feb 8, 2026)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered at the St. Pete Distance Classic again, staffing water stations along the course. This annual race at North Shore Park brought together runners from across the region for a morning of fitness and community spirit.

☕️ Hot Chocolate Run - Volunteering (Dec 14, 2025)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered at Tampa’s festive Hot Chocolate Run, cheering on participants and helping keep the event running smoothly. It was a sweet way to give back to our local community while supporting health, movement, and connection.
🥘 Feeding Tampa Bay (Nov 15, 2025)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® stood with Feeding Tampa Bay in the fight against hunger. Our members worked in the role of restaurant ‘wait staff’ at the Trinity Cafe including serving tables, bussing tables, hosting tables, and more.
🎄 24th Annual Santa’s Workshop (Dec 3-6, 2025) The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered with the Faces of Courage Foundation at Santa’s Workshop Weekend, supporting children touched by cancer and blood disorders and their siblings. Our team helped with activities and crafts, sharing encouragement and holiday cheer with these special families.
💪 Faces of Courage – Adult Cancer Camp Move-In (Sept 10;12, 2025)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered with Faces of Courage, helping load and transport supplies for Adult Cancer Camp. This nonprofit provides free camps and support programs for cancer patients and survivors, creating community and care during treatment and recovery.
🏊 Special Olympics – Area 5 Swim Competition (July 26, 2025)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered at the Area 5 Swim Competition, held at High 5 Inc. This Special Olympics Florida event showcased the dedication and joy of athletes from across the region as they competed in swimming events, supported by cheering families, coaches, and community partners.

📺 WEDU PBS Fundraising Campaigns (2024 & 2025)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® volunteered to answer phones during WEDU’s annual fundraising campaigns. Members helped take pledges and connect with community supporters throughout the broadcast drives.

🎗️ Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (Oct 26, 2024)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® walked shoulder to shoulder with survivors and supporters at the Strides event. In 2025, members attended the August Strides Kick-Off and are planning to participate again in the October walk.
🍲 Metropolitan Ministries (Nov 17, 2024)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® supported Metropolitan Ministries in their outreach to families experiencing hunger and homelessness. Volunteers worked in the retail store and kitchen, prepared meals, and served lunch to residents.
🥘 Feeding Tampa Bay (Feb & Sept 2024)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® stood with Feeding Tampa Bay in the fight against hunger. Our members worked in the warehouse, sorting and packing items and assisting wherever needed.
🎓 Great American Teach-In (Nov 2024)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® inspired local students by sharing their experiences. The Great American Teach-In invites community members into Hillsborough County classrooms to talk about careers, hobbies, and life lessons.
🎶 Gasparilla Music Festival (2024)
The Pink Dragon Ladies® ran the beer tent at the Gasparilla Music Festival. This multi-day event in Tampa brought together local and national artists, food vendors, and community partners for a celebration of music and culture.
